Thank you for visiting our site. This website is designed to walk you through the process of making the right choice for your home.

There are a few things you need to know when choosing the right mini split and contractor:

  1. Not all mini splits are created equal. There are cheap mini splits and high quality mini splits. Cheap mini splits are low quality products with knock off features. Most of them manipulate ratings to stay equal to their competition on paper. They are a value based product designed to attract price sensitive people with no long term expectations. High quality manufacturers build products to perform and last. They back this up with long warranties and proper training for the professionals installing and servicing them. The functions and features of high quality mini splits matter. High quality equipment is tested and held to a higher standard designed for you to rely on the equipment when you need it the most. You’ll find a lot of the functions and features of cheap mini splits are fluff. They don’t actually mean anything to you.

  2. Not all contractors are created equal. As a consumer, it is your right to ask for qualifications. Our company holds over 90 certifications for the equipment we install. Each technician is required to uphold current certifications from the manufaturers we install. It is imperative to stay up to date with training in order to design and install your system properly. Any mini split will work when the weather is good, your system needs to work under extreme conditions. The result of poor installation and design is seen in your comfort levels, your utility bills, and the short life of your equipment.

  3. Your house is important to us. We take pride in our creativity when designing your system. We have no interest in sticking mechanical equipment on every wall and putting pipes all over your home. It’s tacky and unprofessional. Each system we design is thought out as if we are putting it in our own home. Exposed pipes, unsealed holes, uneven covers, and uneven installations are very common in our industry.

  4. Sizing is not guess work. Our competitors tend to walk around your home and point to walls telling you what size needs to go on the wall. We do not. We do not guess or assume at any point during your process. Quality manufaturers have sizing software to properly size your system. This software takes into consideration how many rooms you want to heat/cool, where your outdoor unit will be located, how long your pipes need to be, how much heating/cooling you need per room, and tells us the actual output of the system. We size ot what you actually need. The outcome of this is properly sized equipment, lower utility bills, higher comfort, and longer lasting equipment.

  5. The cost of installing things right. The cost of a mini split can be found online. People are drawn to the low cost heating and cooling marketing of mini splits. The reality is the cost of the equipment is not much less than conventional HVAC equipment. The cost is in the installation. We only use high quality installation materials. Cheap lineset covers fall off over time. They get damaged from the sun. They freeze in the winter and warp. Inexpenive refrigerant copper leaks over time. Cheap fittings leak over time. Cheap screws loosen over time and rot. Improperly installed stands and brackets become uneven cauing leaks in the system. Using the proper materials adds cost to the system.

We do not consider mini splits a “cheap” alternative to conventional HVAC. Mini splits are a part of your home just like a boiler or a furnace. We treat them as such. We size them, select them, and install them so you get the best system, the highest comfort, lowest utilites, and longest lasting product.

Heating systems have evolved.

With mini splits you get air conditioning as a bonus. Less energy consumption, better comfort, and a warm home.
The Daikin Aurora system is designed for low ambient heating. Click the video to the left to see why we choose this unit for you home when you want to use it for heating. Others do not protect their units from harsh winter conditions causing them to fail early and underperform when you need them the most.

Air conditioning is becoming more and more important.

People are doing all they can to tighten up their houses and save energy. This includes trapping the heat in your home in the hot summer months. Not only does air conditioning cool the air, it removes humidity for absolute comfort. With Mini Splits you get some extra heat as a bonus.

Are you looking for a solution to heat your home or simply provide air conditioning?
